I’ve just revamped my makeup bag to get rid of some of my winter products in exchange for spring. Don’t worry I didn’t throw anything out, it’s just stored away till winter. I don’t believe in wasting things, especially if I spent my own money on it. The last thing I spent my money on is now my new favorite product. While at Sephora I picked up a few things like my Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick, among other things. Here’s what’s in my makeup bag this spring.
Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick
Don’t you just love sampling makeup products as you buy them? I know I do. That’s how I came across this amazing lipstick. Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick comes in a variety of colors. I would say about 16 at least, which is pretty exciting. The color I have is called “Gossip Girl” -the everyday cute pink. It’s exactly what it says it is too. I love pink nudes and this color is perfect on my skin tone. I know lip glosses are in, but this matte is definitely different. It’s liquid, so it’s very hydrating, but it dries matte, while keeping your lips moisturized.
Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette Volume ll
Since I’ve gotten the hang of highlighting and non-touring, I’ve fallen in love with it. I’ve been perfecting my skills all winter long. I found the Tarte Cosmetics Rainforest Of The Sea Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette Volume ll. This palette has so many tones to help me step my highlighting game up. There are four different shades to help you add definition to your glow. I actually use all four shades sometimes in different areas of my face for a flawless, nude, glowing look.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette
This is hands down my favorite eye shadow palette right now. There are 14 shades that represent a present day take on renaissance colors. What I love most is the nude and berry tones that are naturally enhancing. I can easily create a day or night look from this one palette alone. Since I’m a minimalist I apply a little, and in this palette a little goes a long way. I also love the brush that’s included. It’s so cute and perfect, and it makes the application extremely easy.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
I found out recently that this is an award winning concealer, and I see why. I’ve stopped wearing foundation for a few months to focus solely on skin care. I honestly may never go back with this stuff, but never say never right? For now I can say this is all I need. I picked a shade that matches my skin tone perfectly. I just dab a little on dark spots, blend, and keep it moving.
