Top Simple Suitcase Packing Tips

When packing to go on a trip the way you organize your things is important. You want to keep simple suitcase packing tips in mind. When you use packing tips it ensures you all of your essentials can fit rather you’re going on a long, or a short trip. The way you should pack your belongings stays the same always. You want to pack smartly and efficiently. You definitely want to keep this thought in mind if you have a lot of stuff to pack. I usually do, which is why I kind of see myself as a pro to making it all fit in. Heel, jackets, purses, I get it all in there and here’s how.

Beauty Products

Packing beauty can get a little tricky if you’re getting on a plane. If you’re traveling on ground all you need to do is put your beauty products in a toiletries bag. If it’s a small toiletries bag, then you can fit it in your purse. For airplane travel the procedure to packing is easier than you think. I know the regulations for bringing liquids on planes is a bit nerve wrecking for some.

The best thing to do is to buy travel size 3oz bottles and fill them with your products at home. Another option is to just buy the travel size versions of your products. Here’s a tip if you have a product that’s half empty you can just pack the whole bottle and skip buying anything at all. For your carry on bag, or purse a cute essentials kit should be packed.

These are just the must haves that you will need to freshen up real quick, eat, and stay entertained while traveling. When I have to transfer planes I always make a quick run to the bathroom to freshen up before boarding the next plane.

Clothes

Packing clothing is actually the easiest thing to do. Folding does not work unfortunately. Yes, I know it’s neat and folding is an involuntary reaction we have with clothing that needs to be put away. Folding isn’t the solution though, it’s rolling. Rolling your clothing into a tight log makes your clothes more compact. Rolling also makes it easier to store clothing with no space issues. This technique also make a great foundation for adding in your accessories with no problems.

Accessories

Fitting your accessories in should be easy. At home you have a jewelry box, or chest depending on how much you have. Investing in a traveling jewelry organizer is a must. You can just lay it right on top of those clothes you just rolled up. I think the rolling technique also makes it easy for you to pack your shoes as well. I always use that big mesh zipper pocket on the back of the top of the suitcase for my shoes and bags.

Love your packing tips! I’m going to Switzerland/Austria for a week in a couple months with just a carry-on, so I definitely will need to utilize these tips, especially your beauty tips. I’m going to be bringing my Birchbox samples instead of packing full-sized items. I also love that bag for accessories!

I have just got back from a trip and i agree with you re rolling your clothes, it works a treat. I always use my shoe/ boots to put things in too, like socks, you can put in the footwear.
I find it really trickly to packlight, thats why I save a lot of samples that I have collected to take with me.
I do end up having to sit on my case to close it sometimes!!
