What Not To Do First Thing In The Morning For Your Beauty Regimen
When you wake up in the morning, there are a few things you should do as soon you get out of the bed. We know the last thing anyone wants to do first thing in the morning, is keep up with a routine. Having a great morning routine is extremely beneficial to your overall health and beauty. Your routine doesn’t have to be super challenging at all, in fact it’s easy enough for everyone to do daily. Every do, probably is followed by a don’t, so we’ll start off by telling you why you never want to do THIS first thing in the morning.
Drinking coffee first thing in the morning is a major don’t. It’s not that you can’t have coffee in the morning at all. We would never be the ones to tell you that. You just don’t want to drink coffee first thing in the morning. There are far better choices in the morning for that first sip of the day, and coffee isn’t it. Coffee is great for giving you your boost of morning/daytime energy, but it’s not healthy enough to be a do first thing in the morning.
Drinking a smoothie is also something you don’t want to do first thing in the morning. We’ve mentioned coffee not being a healthy option for your first thing in the morning routine. A smoothie sounds like a way better options, but it’s actually not. Even if your superfood green kale smoothie, is filled with all the nutrients you need for the week, it’s still not the healthier choice. Your body needs something more before it can even process nutrients properly, and a smoothie ain’t it.
To be honest, and this may come as a shock, but drinking iced cold water is the ultimate don’t do THIS first thing in the morning. Water is the best thing for all of us, but ice cold anything isn’t meant for warm blooded bodies. Drinking ice cold water, especially first thing in the morning can put your body in shock. Have you ever noticed your body having a weird sensation/feeling when you take down ice cold water? Yea, that’s probably shock, and it’s not good for your body to go into shock.
What you do want to do first thing in the morning is drink about 8oz of room temperature water. That’s as easy as leaving a bottle of water by your bed for when you wake up in the morning. You can even choose to do this after you’ve brushed your teeth. The room temperature water prepares your body to properly function and digest the food that you’re about to put in it. Drinking room temperature water instead of ice cold water can improve your bodies overall functionality!
