Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting Product Review + Non-Touring Tips

KEVYN AUCOIN CELESTIAL Skin Lighting Product Review and Non-Touring at The Accessorized Life

Since non-touring is the hottest new beauty trend I wanted to test it out to see if I liked it myself. I bought Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting in candlelight.

This product comes in three different shades. There’s candlelight, starlight, and sunlight. I chose candlelight since your highlighter is supposed to be lighter than your skin. I’ve only been using this product for a week, but I can honestly say that I’m liking the results so far.

Here’s a pro tip that came with the product.

Pro Tip: Always start by applying in small amounts for desired glow.

You can use Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting in three ways. One way is to apply it all over your face for a dewy, glowy finish on your moisturized skin. Another way is to use it as a developer by mixing it with your favorite foundation. This provides a subtle shimmer finish on your skin.

Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Skin for Non-Touring

I chose to use it as a highlighter for non-touring. First, I started by lightly applying the product to my cheek bones, jaw bones, brow bones, the bridge of my nose, and underneath my eyes. Some of my friends like to highlight the middle of their chin and forehead, which turns out to be a pretty look as well. It just all depends on which technique you like more.

I’m definitely a fan of the non-touring trend. I think it’s perfect for adding a pop of color to your skin tone. Plus it works great for everyone. My skin is golden and highlighting definitely, accentuates that. I love it. It also compliments paler skin tones as well in a really pretty way. I think no matter what, you’d get great results from this product.

This is mainly because highlighting is designed to give you a natural look and boost your complexion.

Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting has a really smooth finish when it dries on your skin. It’s also really light-weight. I wasn’t sure how it would be, because it’s a gel. You really can’t tell that it’s gel based because it’s so creamy. It’s not shiny at all either. It’s more of a dry glow. Some products make you flowy and greasy and I don’t like that look at all.

I definitely gave this a smell, because I smell almost everything. There’s barely a fragrance and when I did get a hint of one it was really nice. It was soft and fresh.

One of the things liked most was that it doesn’t crease. I’ve been wearing this all day for the past week and it stays in place, it doesn’t fade, and it doesn’t crease. I was surprised when I noticed those things, because I feel like at least one out of the three usually happens. This stuff really held in place and it didn’t get shiny over time either.

As I applied it to my face I realized it was also giving it a really nice shape. My face was definitely accentuated in the areas that I applied the Liquid Lighting. Overall it gave my face a framed out, glowing, natural look. Since it’s fall I wasn’t sure if I’d keep wearing it, or stop until the summer. I’m definitely noticing that I can wear this now and all throughout winter. That’s because this product only makes you glow, which is great because you won’t  be rocking a weird tan in the winter.

I highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to try non-touring. You can find this product in major department stores.

It’s also at Sephora in store and online.

Another place you can find it online is at and the Kevyn Aucoin website.
