The Best Boot Trends Are Here For Fall And Winter 2016!
It’s boot season again! One of the best things about fall besides the comfy clothes and warm layers is boots. I am a boot fanatic, so I’m beyond excited right now. There are some really cute boots trending too, so I’ve been all over the latest trends. Here are the top 5 must haves right now.
Block Heeled Boots
Blocked heels have been hanging around all 2016. She’s a loyal trend. Here since spring, the blocked heel gave us cute peep toes and fun flirty sandals up until now. The 90’s are back so anything related with a modern twist is in. Blocked heels were extremely popular then. Plus they’re really comfortable. I love a heel that I can wear all day and feel confident and comfortable in. They come in so many different styles for the fall too. Your relationship with a block heeled boot is one of the best you’ll ever have. She’s loyal and she keeps it fun and exciting.
Velvet booties have been trending since spring. I haven’t stopped seeing them in stores and magazines yet. In fact I’m seeing more than ever this fall. I didn’t know how I felt at first but I’m into them especially after spotting Rihanna in an oversized pink fur coat with navy thigh high boots. I have no idea where I’d wear something like this too, but it made me interested in the style overall. The bootie version is pretty cute too. I’m more likely to wear these instead. It’s something I’ve been really considering.
Kanye West was spotted in Paris wearing a pair for men. Maybe it’s becoming a trend for them too?
I’m always looking for new ways to expand on boots. I think the sock bootie is a perfectly cute trend for this season. Since the 90’s look is in, it makes sense that this classic trend would come back around. I almost forgot about the sock bootie until this year. They’re not heavy or clunky and they’re so easy to put on. For most of them you literally just slip your foot in. That’s why it’s genius for the sock bootie to be trending right now. It’s so chic yet comfy and edgy. The great thing is that you can wear these to work and to any event where you feel like being fashionable.
Lace Up Boots
Boots with laces will always be a fall fashion trend. This style does not die. Some styles are a little more street and some are a little more schoolgirl chic. I know don’t why but I always feel smart wearing business attire with a trendy lace up bootie. It’s just something about the tight laces and the heel clacking that I can’t get enough of. It’s a powerful feeling. You also feel snug, safe, and secure in a boot that laces up. They really make you feel like you can conquer the world.
Depending on where you live, these may be the most important boots that you buy. Snow boots haven’t always been the cutest things in the world. I always think back to the ones I had as a child. Those thick like moon boots with the Velcro. Yea, we’ve come a long way since then. Recently snow boots have been getting cuter and cuter. I’m a die hard fan now. Snow boots should be a little pricey. That’s because that one pair should last you at least 5 years. Also, because snow and ice can be dangerous so you don’t want to play around with what you have on your feet to protect yourselves. Last year I purchased a pair of Sperry Saltwater snow/rain boots and I’m so happy that I don’t have to worry about buying snow boots this year. Having at least two to three good pairs can hold you over for a good 10yrs tops if you rotate them. Trust me on this. Plus think of all the money you’d save. They’re such a good investment. After a while those babies just pay for themselves.
