There’s been an interesting trending topic for washing your hair with beer. It’s said that beer will make your hair stronger, thicker, and shinier. Beer has protein that can repair your hair, but the alcohol will just make your hair dry and brittle over time.
Hair shedding is actually quite normal, so don’t get too upset over a few loose strands. You can naturally shed between 20-100 hairs a day. Anything more than that should be managed and treated.
Trimming your hair doesn’t make your hair grow faster, but it does get rid of ugly split ends. Some would say that regular trims are healthy for hair growth. They aren’t. Chopping split ends just means that your ends are healthy.
There’s a beauty myth stating that adding collagen to your skin, produces more collagen. Collagen is definitely needed, but the only way to boost it is with vitamins, minerals, and other natural substances.

Most people believe that curly hair should be straightened before trimming. Trimming curly hair is not always easy, but straightening it is not the way to go. Your new trim may look good straight, but once your curls form, you may realize that it’s too short.

This is not to throw shade at drugstore products. Drugstore products are great and can really work wonders for your hair. The truth is that professional hair products will work better if the ingredients are of a higher quality. You get what you pay for.
