3 Ways Trust Can Make You Invincible
Trust: Do you? Will you?
Trusting is like building a wall with bricks. Brick by brick and layer by layer a wall is built. It’s only as strong as the foundation it’s built on. Trusting God happens in the same way.
Yes, it’s easy to trust God when life is good and your socials are bursting with likes and comments. It’s easy to trust God when your life is blue skies, hot coffee in your cup and your favorite jam is pumping through your earbuds.
But what about the times when those blue skies turn gray and sometimes turn black? When storms roll over you and you feel like you’ve been kicked in the gut. What about those times?
Trusting God at those times can be more difficult. But not impossible. One of the most important things to remember is we need to trust God with what we have today before He will give us what He has for us in our future. A three-year-old gets the tricycle before she gets the car. Are you willing to take care of what He has given you today? It’s just not things…it’s relationships, jobs, etc.
Here are three ways trust makes you invincible.
- Trusting that God is good. Period. Cementing this thought in your heart today will help with your sorrows tomorrow. God is good. Period.
- Trusting that God is good at being God. He absolutely knows what is best for your life. Trusting God to be unfailing in His kindness and love for you will be huge in your trust walk.
- Trusting that God is for you. He loved you first, remember? God is always for you. Romans 8:31 tells us this, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
